User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars picture quality
Samsung LN26A450 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

The only problem I have with this tv is I can’t seem to get the picture quality just right. Everything appears to dark (can’t make out facial features.) I’m still trying to work on getting a better picture. Everything else is great. Good sound quality. Easy to set up. I know once I can get that picture more to my liking, I would give this a 5.

5 Stars Wonderful TV!
This TV is fantastic. The picture is great. The size is perfect, I have it for the bedroom TV, but for many, I think it’s big enough as a living room TV. Easy to set up, easy to program. Don’t hesitate, definitely a good buy. Shipping was fine, received in great condition, needed signature on delivery. I was looking at Sony, but this had a great deal and was rated high in Consumer Reports.

5 Stars Great Little TV
This is an excellent smaller TV for the bedroom. Hard to believe I have read reviews panning the sound. My hearing is only average and even on the lower settings the TV sound is clear as bell. I have zero trouble hearing it. The only reason I can think of for any complaints is that there are a lot of teenagers who have blasted their ear drums to oblivion with Heavy Metal and Max Amped Rap. In other words, the sound is fine unless you’re deaf. The picture is crystal clear for anyone who knows a little about tweaking the contrast, brightness, etc. that comes with just about every TV built since 1990. Well who knows about people not getting great reception with antennas? What era are antennas from? Either pay for cable or forget it. Even my cable hookup without the box is good enough to get clear as a bell picture quality. Really anyone who whines about this TV needs a Shrink more than a TV. It’s the best value out there for the size and price.

5 Stars Good buy!
Just as expected! Samsung delivers with a high quality design, overall picture quality is fantastic, sound could be better, but for a bedroom, works just fine. If this was the main TV, a sound system would bring your movies to life.

4 Stars Samsung - looks good sounds weak
The picture quality is good - it took a little effort to get the picture just right; maybe its me but I didn’t like the default settings - too dark too much black. However, the sound needs help, but I hear that’s a problem with most 26″ LCDs. I still believe that its a good value, definitely above the middle but not at the top of its class. No technically problems to date. In summary: looks, works great, sounds terrible!
