5 Stars Well worth the money
I love this book cover! It is 100% better than the cover that comes with the Kindle. I purchased a mighty bright light and it clips easily to the back cover and works just perfect. I had issues with the cover that came with the Kindle. This one offers such great support and fits into my purse perfectly without much added weight. I do not normally take time to write reviews on items - with this I had to. The Kindle is an expensive purchase and this offers the protection it should have. Its easy to turn on and off. Worth the money. This is the cover that should have come with the $300+ Kindle.

4 Stars Not too bad
For Christmas, my family bought my grandmother a Kindle book. After reading reviews about the cover that comes with the inital purchase of the Kindle device, I thought I would go one step more and buy her the M-edge jacket along with the e-Lumintator booklight. Although this does hold the Kindle in better position than the cover that comes with it, it makes it hard to access to on/off switch.

I think the Kindle itself is poor designed because the turn page buttons are so easy to accidentally hit, and with the upper right hand tab on this M-edge jacket, it makes it even easier to change the page without wanting to. It you do not use the upper right hand corner tab, the book stills stays in place and you can kind of reach down behind the book to turn it off. So there are ways around it……but it should not have to be like that.

The design of both the Kindle and M-edge cover need work!

1 Star Kindle 2 does not fit into this
I ordered a Kindle 1. During the long delay they sent the M-edge leather jacket. When the Kindle 2 arrived 2 months later, it does not fit into the M-edge, and the return window had expired because Amazon shipped them separately.

If you are waiting for a Kindle 2 and have the M-edge, return it immediately. Your return window will expire by the time it arrives, like it did for me.

5 Stars Perfect for my Kindle
I am very pleased with the cover and I think it is a huge improvement on the cover that my Kindle originally came with. I tried the old cover but I left it on there for only a couple days, it was a pain! This cover is awesome! It doesn’t cover up the wheel or any of the keys that you need. You can pull the Kindle away from the backing to get to the switches. It is a nice snug fit that doesn’t accidentally turn pages and a great way to keep your Kindle clean. I love the deep red color and the pockets are convenient for SD cards, business cards will fit in them, envelopes, and even a little notepad if you were so inclined. I love my new Kindle cover, it’s my new little office on the go.

2 Stars Not much better than factory case
First, the interior gets dirty very easily - poor choice of material. Second, the inner pockets and the outer strap pocket are difficult to open. Third, the retention elastic straps do not make it easy to access the switches on the back of the unit, although I would blame this mostly on Amazon.

I bought this a few months ago, so maybe they’ve made improvements, but I would return mine if I could.
