4 Stars Good buy!
I was very skeptical about this product after reading some of the bad reviews for the product. But it WORKS VERY WELL! I live in Chicago’s suburbs, and the FM airwaves are pretty full, but we found a frequency that works and we haven’t had to change it even once. It helps to have the transmitter as close to the radio as possible. Every once in awhile, there will be some crackling - but for the most part it sounds great!
1 Star Griffin iTrip
This product ended up in the trash. It is very flimsy and worst of all, was not compatable with my iPod Touch as a re-charger. I’ll have to find something else.
3 Stars Performance depends on a lot of things. Make sure you can return it!
There are a lot of pros and cons to this product in my eyes. However, a lot of them are situation-specific. The most important recommendation I can make is to ensure that you buy this somewhere you can easily return it, in case it doesn’t work out for you.
The most glaring flaws all have to do with the 12V car charger. I bought this iTrip to replace an old iTrip which plugged in to the headphone adapter, which broke after a few years of reliable service.
I’ll start positive. This iTrip is a lot like the others. The signal is weak, but if your car has its antenna in a reasonable place, your reception will probably be good. Most of the time, it works just fine. Other reviewers have noted that you can get better reception if you switch to mono, or DX mode. To be honest, I didn’t notice any difference and I wanted my music to be in stereo anyway. However, putting the device in international mode was pretty much required for me. I used 87.9 MHz on my old iTrip, as that gave me the best reception, and you can’t use that frequency in US mode. It’s annoying that when you set it to international mode, the radio station randomizes every time you turn it on, but you get used to it.
Now for the gripes. One thing I liked about the old iTrip using the headphone plug instead of the dock connector was that I could choose whether or not to charge the iPod at the same time, with a separate cord. Without it tethered by the cord, I could leave the iPod/iTrip anywhere in the car where I could get good reception. For me, this was clipped to the overhead visor. I can’t put it there with the new version, though, because of a short cord and a bad design decision by my car manufacturer, explained further below.
With the iTrip Auto, having it plugged into the 12V outlet is REQUIRED. You cannot run the iTrip without it. If you have an iPhone/iPod Touch/newer iPod Nano, you can’t charge it with the iTrip Auto, but you have to plug it into the 12V outlet anyway. Since I only have one 12V outlet which was previously occupied by a phone charger, this is a problem. Further complicating things is that the 12V outlet in my Pontiac Vibe is inside the armrest rather than on the front console, so whenever I want to change from the iTrip to my phone charger, I have to dig around in there. That’s annoying, but if your 12V outlet is in a sensible place, that shouldn’t be a problem for you.
Since the 12V outlet is in the armrest, and the iTrip’s cord is short, I can’t put the radio transmitter where it will get the best reception. As a result, I get static every now and then where with the old iTrip I did not. Again, this might not be a problem for you, but if your car’s antenna is a bad place, you may get static anyway and you can’t choose to put it anywhere in your car, since the cord is so short. I suggest you test it out, and if it works well, great. Make sure you’re MOVING when you test it. I tested it in the driveway and it sounded a lot better than when I actually got going.
Another problem is with the auto-off feature. If you’re not using the iPod, the iTrip Auto turns itself off. That’s great. What’s not great is that if later you decide to turn it on, sometimes it will work and sometimes it won’t. It acts like it’s working, but it isn’t transmitting. The only way I found to fix that was to unplug it from the 12V outlet and then plug it back in again. Again, since my outlet is in the armrest, that’s really annoying.
In general, the iTrip is really not that bad. It depends on your specific situation - what frequencies work well for you, where your antenna is, where your 12V outlet is. Try it out and be prepared to send it back if you experience problems. I’m keeping it, as it works most of the time, but I still get static sometimes, and the short cord coupled with the required car charger means I can’t whole-heartedly recommend it, especially since it can’t charge newer iPods/iPhones.
5 Stars Cheap, Easy, Good Quality
This is the second transmitter I’ve purchased. I have had my original for a few years, it’s still working great. This one is for my fiance’s little sister. She loves the sound quality, as well as that it charges her iPod all the time. The music comes in clear and strong.
1 Star Save your money
Right out of the box it DOES NOT charge your 4th gen., 8G iPod as it says it will (the reason I had to upgrade). Do they still call this stuff rip-off? So now do you pay postage to mail it bac or not bother………..

Polk Audio RM6752 Center Channel Speaker Single Titanium
July 31, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

The Polk Audio RM6752 center channel speaker accommodates listeners who want to add a voice-matched 6.1 rear surround speaker to their surround sound speaker system. Specifically designed for Polk’s RM6750 setup–which itself comes with four satellites, a center speaker, and a subwoofer–the speaker helps fill out the rear effects and dialogue, creating a true top-of-the-line home theater compatible with the latest surround encoding formats. The RM6752 is equipped with dual 3.25-inch polymer composite cone midrange drivers that are lightweight and efficient, along with a high-performance 0.75-inch silk dome tweeter. Combined, the drivers create a clear, distortion-free midrange and smooth highs.
The speaker also employs the same PowerPort bass vent technology used in Polk’s line of full-sized speakers, thus improving the lower midrange response. The result is a midrange with no “hole” between the center speaker and the sub frequencies, helping male vocals sound rich and full rather than thin and weak (as with most other sub/sat systems). Meanwhile, the speaker’s integrated baffle and grille design allows for maximum sound dispersion and minimum diffraction, letting everyone in the room hear the same clear, well-balanced audio.
The speaker is housed within a mineral-filled, non-resonant, titanium-finished polypropylene enclosure that not only sounds natural, but also looks great. To top it off, the speaker includes a pair of integrated keyhole slot mounting brackets for effortless wall mounting. And because the speaker is magnetically shielded, you can locate the speaker near the TV without suffering from video interference. The speaker measures 11.19 by 4.31 by 5.81 inches (W x H x D) and is backed by a five-year warranty.

5 Stars Polk Audio RM6752 Money well spent
With my understanding being that the center speaker is dialogue, the RM6752 fits my purpose perfectly.
People have a tendency to over spend on speakers. ( I have gone that route)I use to have what I called my $25,000 wall, In my other life.
Polk Audio has speakers for everyones price range.
I use better Polk Audio speakers for my right and left,a conservative Yahama (100 watt) sub,and two Bic cheapies for the two surround.
I read a review that said the bic speakers had a tinny sound Duh!!
You see, I am in a apartment now, and do not find it necessary to shake the walls and disturb the tranquility of others.
Receiver..refurbished Yamaha $99.00 Just enough power the drive the speakers (preout If i choose to increase)
Speakers $309.99
32″ LCD flat panel $499.00
Happy as a pig in mud.

4 Stars Decent Center Channel
This little center channel is great. I bought a bundled Pioneer system that came with a very small center channel. I have been shopping around for a cost-effective center channel, but most of the ones I saw were either too expensive or too big. This one is just the right size and provides a bigger/deeper sound than my small pioneer. If you’re looking for a louder/deeper center channel, but don’t want to fork over the money for a premium center channel, this is a good deal for that purpose. I give it 4 stars b/c while I was happy with the upgrade in sound quality, it didn’t have the “wow” factor for me to give it the extra 5th star.

2 Pack replacement needles for ION-ITTUSB05 & ION-IPTUSB
User Ratings and Reviews
5 Stars Good product, good service
These hard to find replacement needles for my ION USB Phonograph were priced reasonably and arrived quickly. Since they come two to a pack, I’ll have a spare!
4 Stars Replacement Needles for ION record player.
Ther needles were received on a timely basis and work as expected. What was unsettling was that three weeks later I received a duplicate invoice from what appeared to be the same company, indicating they were shipping the needles. Price was twice what I was originally charged. I replied with a copy of the original invoice in a sharply worded email. I never heard back from them, nor was my credit card charged for the duplicate order and the order appeared never to have been shipped. I was wondering if someone broke into their order system and was phishing for information. Most disturbing!

5 Stars Canon Battery Charger
THis is a great Canon battery Charger. I lost my original one, and this is the same exact one as what came with the camera/
5 Stars Excellent Product
I forgot my main charger back in India while travelling to USA and Ordered this product, I am extremely happy with this product and I will recommend this product. I got this product little below 35$.It takes little longer to charge battery but does not matter for me.
Pros: Very Handy, Light and compact. Very useful especially when you have extra set of battery. You can use one and keep other on charging.
Cons: Not found any yet.
5 Stars Works Great
I bought this charger and an extra battery for my Canon HV30. The charger is compact and allows for a second charger to still be plugged into the same outlet. It functions fine with the Canon BP-2L13 and BP-2L14 battery packs.
I bought this charger because I wanted a second battery for long trips and with the HV30 no charger is included. The HV30 will charge the battery through the camera when plugged in. While I don’t if this has any ill long term effects on the camera, I know that it takes much longer to charge the battery that way.
This charger gets my batteries juiced much quicker than via the camera and allows me to still use the camera while charging my backup. If you are unsure if you need the charger because of a similar situation, I would say it is well worth it, not only for convenience, but to get your battery sooner when in a pinch.
4 Stars Charging light is BEST selling point
I lost my original Canon digital camera battery charger and needed a replacement, so I ordered the manufacturer’s version despite it’s greater cost because of the handy charging light. It’s hard to see, but just above the battery slot, there’s a small light that turns red while you’re charging it, and then it turns green when the battery is fully charged. This simple added feature makes this charger worth the extra cost to me as I hate wasting energy unnecessarily and also can’t stand it when I think something’s charged long enough, but in fact it’s not. This light eliminates the guessing game. I’d give it 5-stars if it were less expensive, but it’s worth the difference.
5 Stars A Battery Charger That Works
I had lost the battery cvharget that came with my Canon Ditial Rebel 350 and so I needed to replace it. this charger works just fine.
