1 Star NO SOUND
I was so excited to get my new TV. Had everything setup. Set the TV to scan for all available channels. The process of removing channels was horrible. Unlike Sony where you just click add/delete in this Sharp TV you have to go through the menu and delete each channel. Hate it. Then I get to a few channels where I can see the picture perfectly, but I can’t hear anything. That’s strange because all the other brand TV at home can get those channels with sound perfectly even Vizio the brand I hate with its poor quality picture and a control that only works if you angle it towards the far right. What gives. Sharp is suppose to be a better brand. They need to work on their digital tuner especially the sound. I contact Sharp but have not heard back from them yet.

5 Stars A Sharp Product
I would like to state that this LCD is awesome. The brand really lives up to its name. The product is Sharp. This my first over 40″ TV and all the features are fantastic. I would recommend this product to anyone. I enjoy watching movies (blue ray movies are remarkably clear)video games are also outstanding. This product is a 10+. I definitely made a good decision in purchasing this product.

5 Stars Excellent Product!
I am very pleased with this new TV in all respects, and would buy it again.

5 Stars Absolutely Amazing TV!
We’d shopped for a few months for a 50-52″ HDTV and finally settled on the Aquos. This is THE TV. It arrived exactly when Amazon said it would, setup service was great, and I was watching movies and playing Xbox within minutes. The picture is incredible. Weeks after we recevied it, we’re still commenting every day about how amazing the picture looks. The sound really isn’t bad either, although I’ll probably connect a speaker system to it in the near future. I went to Circuit City’s closeout sale, and couldn’t get a comparable TV for anywhere CLOSE to the price you can get this one here–take the plunge…it’s WELL worth it!

1 Star Next to my Toshiba Regza this thing is a dog
I purchased the combo package from Dell with the blue ray and this unit for 1599 shipped. Seemed like a good deal and I could not find another 52″ toshiba regza (and was worried about remote conflicts) so I decided to try this out based on the excellent reviews.

Once installed there is no comparison, the Toshiba looks 10x better. Everyone who sees them side by side remarks about it. Contemplating returning to find another toshiba.

Save your money and avoid this thing.

3 Stars Item was good but…
When I got the item, the 1/3 of box was broken. I worried about the TV itself. Fortunately, TV was not damaged and works well.

5 Stars excellent
this lcd is good for teenagers who play alot of ps3 or xbox360. nice quality

5 Stars Beautiful
I bought this television to replace an older 26″ Sharp Aquos. I think this one actually looks better than the (more expensive) Aquos. Perfect size for my bedroom. I love being able to pop a DVD in the side and it fires right up. No extra cables and no extra box. This thing is awesome. I paid only $420 from the Amazon Warehouse site. The condition said Used - Mint, but from what I could tell it had never even been opened. Perfect right out of the box.

5 Stars quality

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Excellent Toshiba Flat Panel
Excellent seller, great ship time and wonderful experience. Keep up the good work and thank you so much

4 Stars Problem with volume
I’ve had this TV for about six months now and am happy with it, with one major exception: on some channels, even when the volume is turned up to maximum level, the sound is barely audible even from 6 feet away (I have the TV at the foot of my bed). Have had the same problem when playing CDs and DVDs. Am mystified–don’t know if it’s the TV or the station/CD/DVD. Another minor problem is that the set is slow–takes 5-10 seconds between pressing the “on” switch until the picture appears.

5 Stars Worth the Money
The TV in my bedroom had given up the ghost so I thought I would take a look at Amazon to see what they had to offer. Since I already have a large screen Toshiba in the TV room that is still going well I would look to see what they had. Style, quality and price and a built in DVD made the decision easy. Picture and sound are just what I was looking for. Go for it.

2 Stars Disappointing
Disappointing sound and reception. DVD player works OK. Nice product styling, but really poor reception with antenna both before and after switch to high-def broadcasting.

3 Stars Satisfactory for space saving Kitchen Unit
I selected the white unit that fits well in the Kitchen corner, and looks sweet with white cabinets. The digital tuner doesn’t convert the cable feed unless the cable box is employed, which defeats space saving advantages, since there is no cable card slot. I wanted to play CDs on my unit as well, but disappointed with the sound, so had to buy a ZVOX mini soundbar that has great sound and automatically functions well with this TV sound control/remote. I put the mini soundbar on top of the cabinets outta sight. Another disappointment is that you can’t play CDs without the LCD screen being on, displaying a lame track list. It takes more than average time for this TV’s chipset to change channels and launch the CDs/DVDs. If you are watching an analog feed, expect a so-so picture.

I give it a C+.
