The ear plug connection to the iPod itself is not a tight fit. When you walk, run, or go to adjust your volume you get static due to the connection not being a good fit. This is my second order on this device. The first one I returned was even worse.

5 Stars Apple iPod Shuffle
I am truly loving this little gadget! This is my first ipod/mp3 player and I must admit that at first I was hesitant to buy one because I ride the bus & sub to work so safety is a concern but it’s a great way to zone out during the ride - I simply clip it on and go (it’s nice to be able to wear it under my coat so it can’t be snatched off of my person).

Right now I have 248 songs loaded and because I only listen to it while traveling the battery lasts about 10 days. I love the shuffle feature which adds an element of surprise to the listening experience. It’s also wonderful that I can use my own pair of in-ear buds instead of having to use the Apple buds that came with the shuffle.

For someone like me who only uses the ipod sporadically, this is a most useful invention that has added a lot of pleasure to my daily commute!

5 Stars You can even wash it!
I reluctantly bought this for Christmas for my 5 year old, and thought…Should I buy two? How long will it last? Well, after sitting in the grass overnight for three days…It still works. A week later I found it in the bottom of the washing machine. It must have been in his pocket. I really thought it was dead now, but thought to charge it just in case and…It started charging and still held all his songs. Unbelievably well made product! However, I don’t recommend you try this at home. Amazing!

It was the end of last summer when I learned I was getting this. Since I was gonna start taking a bus, my mom told me to get an iPod so that way when it gets loud, I can just pull it out and listen to it. Now I did have a problem. About a week after I had the system installed, my laptop got a virus and I had to erase everything on it. As of now it is dead because my 8 year old cousin turned it on and forgot to turn it back off. FYI she kept on hounding me with “Can I have this?” over and over again. So when I went to listen to it, the battery died and I can’t recharge it. I am going to get a replacement, I only paid [...] bucks for the darn thing and I only had 6 songs. The following are the songs I had on my iPod.

Rascal Flatts: Life is a Highway

Joe Nichols: What’s a Guy Gotta Do?

Guitar Hero: Iron Man

Lion: Transformers

Green Day: Boulevard of Broken Dreams (I listened to that song most)

Hilsong United: From The Inside Out

5 Stars I own it
I own the IPOD shuffle as well as an 80gb classic. I was reading the reviews of the shuffle and was somehow aggravated. The IPOD shuffle was not designed to be used as mass media music collection storage device. If you want that then you will need to purchase the big boy (classic). The IPOD shuffle is perfect for use when running, working out, or just a brisk morning walk.

It is smaller than a pack of matches and you never even know that you have it. It took me all of about 20 minutes to add the music from I TUNES to it. You can open i tunes and throw in your favorite cds, and it will copy the songs to the shuffle. I have 200 songs on mine and really did not pay a dime for any of the songs.

There is some negativity about not being able to copy music not purchased through I tunes into the i tunes library. Well I have an extensive music collection and not all of it was purchased through i tunes.

Solution to the problem, I just burn my favorite songs to a discs and then i tunes will copy mu songs into the i tunes library from the discs.

All in all the IPOD shuffle is a top of the line music player, it is not complicated and there is not onscreen display, that on most cheaper mp3 players is just plain aggravating to navigate through. If you are on the market for an MP3 player : buy the shuffle! Small, easy, and portable.

My children love theirs! They rock on road trips.Apple iPod shuffle 1 GB Bright Green (2nd Generation)
