5 Stars Great product from great company!
This FM transmitter works great with my iPhone 3G. No problems finding a station to transmit on and I love the fact I can used it in the house with my home stereo. As a side note, I have to mention the EXCELLENT customer service I received from this company. They contacted ME via email to see if I had received the item in a timely manner…ironically I had just "broken" the item (really just the charger that plugs into the cigarrette lighter) and told them about it. Within a day they had mailed me out a replacement with a prepaid mailing label to mail back the damaged item and apologized for any inconvience I may have experienced! I’ve never had this kind of costumer service. This is truly a company that stands behind it’s product!
5 Stars WORKS on iPhone 3G
This actually works! I’ve tried at least four different ones, some the same price, some 2x the price. I have an iPhone 3G. I’ve used it for three weeks in three different vehicles, all with great results. No cutting out, no static. It’s nice to be “wire free” as it draws its power from the iPhone. I moved the phone all over the front of the vehicle as needed (use as phone, moving maps, get out of sun/sight/etc). Didn’t notice any decrease in battery life, though obviously there will be. It comes with a DC charger that can be used as well. You will get the message about wanting to go into airplane mode when you plug it in, but it’s simple to just tell it not too.
3 Stars Good sound but major design flaw
I am currently using the transmitter a first generation Iphone. The previous reviews are generally correct. The sound quality especially when playing sounds in IPOD mode sound great especially in you are in an area with relatively clear frequencies. If you use the AOL RADIO app, the quality is more uneven though that is more dependent on the phone’s reception rather than the quality of the transmitter. The major design flaw is the lack of metal prongs in the connecter to lock the connecter to the phone for a secure connection. The wall charger for the Iphone has these tiny prongs. Why couldn’t they add the prongs? I find the connector keeps popping off which is very annoying so I now have to use a rubber band to keep it plugged in. An effective solution but its lame that I have to do this and it gets in the way of using the touch screen.
5 Stars Best Transmitter!
This transmitter is tiny and effective! I was surprised at how small it is and the best thing — which I didn’t realize until discovering it by accident — is that it’s wireless! You can either plug it into the car lighter and connect to your iPhone or, just connect to your iPhone wirelessly. My daughter loves using Pandora stations on my iPhone from the backseat of the car and listening through the car stereo. As with all transmitters, there’s some static depending on where you travel but overall, this is the best transmitter I’ve tried at certainly the best price. Highly recommended.
5 Stars Convenience
I’m really happy with this product. I listen to music stored on my iPhone to and from work. During that time, I don’t really need to keep it charging, so having an untethered unit is ideal. The wireless aspect is also great in case you need to move the phone around inside your car to get better reception.
Does it sound like a CD? No, but I didn’t expect it to. There is definitely static that will catch your attention, but, to me, that’s the cost of convenience.
I tried this product before the Satechi: FM TRANSMITTER/CAR CHARGER+REMOTE for iPhone/iPod Touch. It was…ok. A little shabby. The Satechi is much more convenient to use, and the price point is great.
Customer service is really good. I’ve bought products WAY more expensive than this one and have never been contacted about my satisfaction. This company is different.

This devise works great! I plugged in into my laptop and it installed itself. I was up and running right away. I was able to pair it with my phone and my wifes phone. We both have Pantech Matrix C740 phones. Now I can load wallpapers and music. I ardered this since I was having problems trying to find a USB cable for my phone.

unlike the DBT120, this dongle is vista compatible, but the software is pretty outdated. still works though and allows you to send stuff to/from bluetooth phone

I love this thing! It was delivered very quickly and I am using it for more than just transfering ringtones. It is very versitile and when I put it into my laptop, it automatically downloaded the drivers into my comp and was ready to use in less than a minute. It is worth every penny that I spent on it. I have had other people tell me that it took a little bit to get it on their computer, but I have an XPS and it had no problem loading the bluetooth.

This bluetooth adapter works as advertised. Well, it doesn’t go the distance that’s promised but you should already know that when you purchase this device. It worked on my Vista Ultimate 64-bit machine without having to use the driver-disk. Don’t hesitate when buying this thing. It’s a steal compared to the higher-end adapters that have a price tag of $30+.
If your cell phone provider uses CDMA phones then you’re out of luck as far as sending text messages and making calls through your computer. Those features only works with GMS phones. However, you can still connect to CDMA phones and transfer data (ring tones, etc.) back and forth using a program like BitPim.
