4 Stars It’s a little better than ok
This replaced a 7 or 8 year old GE drop down tv which was a wonderful tv/radio/cd player until the buttons stopped working. The Audiovox was a little difficult to install. It could’ve been me, but I swear the template was off about a 1/4 inch. The picture quality is not as good as my old GE and certainly not as good as I expected. There is what seems to be a long pause when turning on or switching from tv to radio or dvd. Of course, I’m thinking maybe I should’ve spent a couple hundred dollars more and gotten a little better tv. All in all, it’s an ok tv for the money. It serves the purpose.

5 Stars under counter tv
Streamlined tv fits beautifully under a kitchen cabinet. the TV screen flips down and can be put up for “storage”. Quality of tv is very good. I would recommend for a kitchen or shelving system to optimize space.

5 Stars So far so good!!!!
So far so good for this product. Was an easy installation to the underside of my cabinet. The picture and sound are great. Loved the fact I just connected to my cable and it played without any other devices.

5 Stars Great for the Kitchen
Purchases and installed last holiday for wife. She loves it. The picture is also GREAT as it can pick up HD cable channels. The speakers are also good. You have all of the connections (RCA and co-ax) on the back. GREAT BUY!

5 Stars Nice TV for kitchen
Nice TV with good features. I wanted a TV that I could listen to the news with while I do the dishes and my wife wanted one that she could listen to DVDs while she cooked.

I liked that it has both digital and analog tuning and that it is cable ready. The controls were intuitive for me and the instructions were good. The menus allowed me to turn off channels that I didn’t want and to label the ones I did. I am a bit worried about the durability of the hinge but it should be OK if we are careful. The attachment hardware and templet were well designed for hanging under a cabinet at different heights.

5 Stars Excellent for Nursing Homes or Rehabilitation
I bought this item for my Dad, who is 90 years of age, while he was in the Veteran’s Home. He has since been hospitalized and is now in a sub-acute care facility… but the music is definitely something that he completely enjoys and I often bring it with me on my visits so that he can hear traditional Christian hymns that he loves singing, or for the latest Charles Stanley or Joel Osteen sermons or for just about anything from Radio station 94.7 FM or classical music from 96.3 FM in the NJ/NY area.

It is a neat, little gadget that even I find myself listening to. Handy, small in size, easy-to-use.

My only setback is untangling the cords here and there… (but this happens with everything) and be sure to have extra batteries on hand.

Highly recommend!

5 Stars Excellent for the price
I bought this player for 24$, and for the price is a very good deal.

It works as advertised, and for me is particularly useful that it is powered by 1 AAA battery, meaning that when the power is over, you just change the battery and do not depend on chargers. Battery life is about 12 hours with rechargeable 900mAh batteries.

The size is convenient although it is not slik, small or fancy. But is light, so it is good for sports. As with other mp3 players, the headphones are crab, so get a set of good ones.

Caveats: it says uses USB2 speed, but it seems that it is really USB1, and takes much longer than other players to upload-download files.

Also, do not support folder organizer, so all files are listed as single files.

2 Stars not great for audiobooks
The player works fine for music, but I primarily bought it to listen to audio books. It freezes up and you have to sometimes take out the battery to get it going again. Also, the fast forward function isn’t very fast. I guess it’s worth the price.

4 Stars Good buy for the money!
The connector to the line you wear around your neck broke almost immediately but the earbuds and player work great. I was able to rig up something so I could still wear it because that’s what I wanted it for, to wear while I jogged. Anyway, for the money it’s a great deal just be ready to improvise.

5 Stars nice little player
i like my coby mp305-2g. it is pretty basic, but has some nice features. You can set the screen back-light color from 7 colors. You plug it in your laptop or pc and use explorer to copy and paste your mp3s, folders etc to the unit.

It seems playlists are not supported, but it will play all mp3s in a folder- or all mp3s loaded on the unit.

Not having a playlist feature is something some people might not like.

You can play all mp3s in a folder in order, random, random repeat, all repeat. You can even play all mp3s in every folder in order, random, and random repeat.

A single seasoned AAA rechargeable battery lasts 5-6 hours for me, and new non-rechargeable batteries last a bit longer. I prefer AAA batteries versus built-in batteries since I travel.

The menu is simple to navigate. There is an equalizer with the usual music type presets, you can delete files from the menu.

I don’t use the FM radio, but there is one on the unit.

I usually just load all my songs onto one folder, hit random repeat, put it in my pocket, and let it run- so this player works for me.

I don’t baby it, i throw it in my backpack and around the car. The sound is great, and with ear buds, can make your ears ring. Max volume with large studio headphones is loud but not deafening.

3 Stars Avoid all touchpad MP3 players.
Purchased this as a gift for a friend and overall not too bad.But ad said 8 hour battery life, more like 4 hour. The touch pad controls are annoying to say the least.Controls should have been recessed off the face of the player instead of being flush, like the i pod classic. The slightest brush against the player and will cause undesired operation.Remember you get what you pay for.

3 Stars OK!!
I’ve had this product for 2-3 wks, and use it for frequent commutes. i’ve been using the mp3 option mainly. The player syncs nicely with my windows media player, and like all mp3s it would automatically download your entire playlist but there’s an option to prevent it so that’s no problem. the battery has been lasting for 7-8hrs.

my main concern and biggest peeve is the touchpad.. i’d rather feel the controls so that i can just change a song without having to look at the screen.. it’s less user-friendly than other mp3s. the touchpad isn’t sensitive enough sometimes. i also dislike how the player doesnt save where the playlist was at before turning off. and most importantly, sometimes the player would shut off for no reason! even when put on hold!! but i guess i can live with it.. don’t know if it’s worth the low $$

1 Star touch screen overly sensitive
Nice appearance, sleet and slim. Cannot clip onto anything, makes it difficult to use when doing activities unless you have pockets. If you do have pockets, any slight touch to the screen affects the unit. You can lock the unit but it won’t play more than the current song.

ALso, ear buds are too big.

4 Stars Great mp3 player
I have really liked this mp3 player. The only thing is the touch pad seems to only work when it wants. Sometimes I have to touch it a few times before it does what I want. But overall a great mp3 player!

5 Stars Coby 8gb MP3 player
I have had this player for about a month and it has worked as advertised. Holds a charge well and plays back well. The controls are touch sensitive and require a light touch due to the sensitivity, but you get use to it. I use it in my car and attached to a home stereo system.

I think it is a good value for the dollars.

5 Stars 4GB Bargain
For the price, this is a great little gadget. I bought it as a gift for my dad who is 78 years old. He loves it. He has even dropped it once or twice and it still works fine. Sound quality is good for an inexpensive mp3 player. The interface is minimal, but I expected that. The menus and controls are nice and easy to use though. I can’t really complain about anything. I use an iPod for my music, but this thing is so slick that I wouldn’t mind having one for myself as a secondary player. The physical size, memory size and price can’t be beat. Oh, and the radio works great too! What a plus!

5 Stars Better than I Expected
I LOVE this device. I’ve had other MP3 players that cost twice as much and were no where near as good. The 4GB capacity is really all there and I have added 900 songs and still have over 200MB left.

5 Stars Amazing product for the price.
Absolutely amazing product for the price. Small, sleak, high capacity 4 GB, and very well designed. Built-in USB jack without needing a cable is a great convenience. For the price, this MP3 player should be selling by the millions.

4 Stars Great Value
With 4 GB you can store many many mp3. Very compact and very light unit. Easy to use. You don’t need a separete USB cable to connect to your PC. The headphones are cheap with very short wire. That’s why I didn’t gave it 5 stars.

1 Star Start good then flop
We were so excited by this product, it worked very well for a while and suddenly stopped working. I did not want to go through the hassle of getting it fixed because of the price I got it. I probably would have wasted a lot of time to get it fixed.

Conclusion: that was unfortunate but I would not by another one of the same type.

1 Star Broken
This product doesn’t even work. I didn’t even receive a plug to charge it.. horrible product and service!!!

1 Star Ripp OFF
They send me the itrip, and it came in a tinny carton box, whit a fotocopy paper and the itrip, that looked all used up, and doesnt work, when i connect it to my 120 gb ipod it doesnt turn on.

Total ripp off, dont BUY THIS.

5 Stars This is the best transmitter!
I tried the newer Griffin transmitter (not as powerful) and it was terrible! I heard the older Griffin transmitters are more powerful so I searched it out and bought it. They were right, it works great! Be sure you purchase one of the older ones. They are generally cheaper too!

4 Stars Great Item
Works great, although sometimes the volume is a little low. Easy to use (as long as you read the directions).

4 Stars Pretty Good
It works like it says. My only problem is the low range, i.e. having to be close to the receiver (particularly hand-held radios). Volume reception is not high in my car; I have to turn the radio way up to get a decent sound. And it gets scratchy (like a radio signal will) sometimes when I drive in certain areas.

Good product for the price though.
