Summon up past-time ambience, a little nostalgic musical interlude with the Crosley Grand Music Center. This superb recreation is crafted of solid woods and veneers and hand rubbed to an illustrious high gloss finish. The clean, sophisticated lines are nicely detailed with finger-style open face grillwork and an authentic, illuminated airplane-style face dial. Lift the hinged lid to reveal a 3 speed record player and then sit back in awe to marvel at the addition of an AM/FM radio and cassette deck. There truly is no lovelier note than that heard on an authentic Crosley reproduction.

5 Stars Play old records
Had a lot of old records that I couldn’t play, plus had purchased a group of hard to find records on ebay and had nothing to play them on. The product arrived in excellent condition and works great. I can noe enjoy all my old records including the ones I had searched for and found.
4 Stars If at first you don’t succeed.
Had to send the first one back. There was “dirty” volume in the unit. Very gargled sound quality. Got the second one, minus the large shipping fees both ways, and it works perfectly.

1 Star Buyer Beware
When I tried this first, the CD drawer would not open. I exchanged it. It recorded to CD but only sporadically. Parts of songs and whole songs were missing. This happened with different records and different CD-R’s. Now I’m looking for something more reliable.
5 Stars Crosley Record player/CD Recorder
I love this product. It allows me to play/record records at all three speeds. You can record the whole side of a record in a single track (easiest), or record individual songs in seperate tracks. You can also play/record Tapes the same way.
It allows you to play CDs or am/fm radio as well.
I’ve finally gotten my old records out of storage and can play them on CDs or on my IPOD - which was the main purpose of getting this product.
4 Stars Excellent Product
The Product was exactly as stated. Highly recommended to anyone
The Price was extremely expensive

2 Stars 1st one delivered was defective, nervous about ordering another
I ordered this for my Dad for Fathers Day and it was delivered fast! He has one of the other Crosley players but it does not record to CD which he really wanted. Recently the cd player door will not stay closed on his original Crosley ( he has only had it a couple years and it was not cheap either!)… anyway so I figured I would order him this one to replace it with. It was delivered 2 days before Fathers Day and I was real happy about that. He was very excited and tried to set it up and the display does not work. He tried for a couple of hours working with it and the screen would come on but would not show any of the functions. Well he is very disappointed and so am I. I have scheduled a UPS pick up and decided on a refund instead of an exchange because I want to make sure my refund goes through ok first before I reorder. I have never returned anything to Amazon before so I hope it will be a smooth process. After reading some of these reviews I am really nervous about reordering ….. but I know he really wants one, so I guess I will.
4 Stars Crosley CR248
I purchased the Crosley CR248 Songwriter CD Recorder to transfer a large number of tapes and records to CDs. It works just as described. I am very happy with its performance. While my experience with it is still limited, I would certainly recommend it to anyone having needs similar to mine.
5 Stars Just What We Wanted
Does a great job of converting vinyl to CD - the sound reproduction is excellent. The CD created sounds just like the original. The ability to play and convert records of all speeds is wonderful as we have an extensive collection going back to the 40s. Easy to use too.
1 Star not worth the money
i’m not for many words so i’ll be brief, i record cds from albums using a 2nd generation pioneer. i bought this thinking i wouldn’t have to break down and reassmble my stereo everytime i wanted to record from album (long story, moving on) this item is fine for the novice recorder (but not for the price). it makes an “o.k.” recording (but not for the price). for the money you can get a better turntable and outboard recorder and do a better job. i mean get real, the track inscriber actually stops the recording and restarts!?! in which w/o care, you end up cutting off one song at the end and one at the begining! i don’t think the 1st generation recorders were THAT archeic! you can’t adjust tone arm pressure! you can’t use better stylus (only their replacement which is mediochore at best) and here’s the real kicker…$30 for s&h !!! if it wasn’t so much to, i’d send it back, but i’ll cut my loses, use it till the needle wears (oh i can’t wait for that) and then give it to the resale rack cause i couldn’t bring myself to actually try to sell this! buyer beware.
5 Stars A Must-Have!
What a wonderful product to preserve those timeless, precious memories captured on tapes and records. I’m so glad I bought it; I can’t believe I didn’t buy it sooner!! It’s a must-have.
