5 Stars Great product!
This is a great product! It fits the i-pod perfectly and allows it to sit on your arm while working out without getting in the way. It even has a place for the extra wire for the headphones to wrap around, so they are not getting tangled around your arms, etc… Awesome buy!

4 Stars its pretty much great
everything is awesome.

you can use this as a belt clip, regular case, and arm band.

the screen protector is really nice too.

the only thing that bugs is is that if you want to switch cases for your itouch its kind of hard because this case is kind of tight.

but that shouldn’t be reason not to buy it because its pretty awesome.

3 Stars not for everybody
Im just a guy that goes to the gym and the arm band wont fit. Guess I will have to just use the belt clip..Disappointed.. guess I should have thought of this.

5 Stars Excellent Quality low price…WOW!
As soon as I got it I noticed how well made this is and the texture of the fabric is 1st QUALITY! To be honest I was expecting a cheap rubber/silicon case with a lousy strap, but, boy was I wrong…

Dont hesitate on buying this if you need multi-facet use for it, the belt, arm clip is strong and it keeps your Ipod Touch 2G secure in all positions.

Great product! Thanks Amazon!

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Exactly as advertised…
We got the marware sensor case to allow us to use our preferred running shoes with the Nike+ system. So far, there have been three of us using it and nobody has had any problems with how it attaches to your laces or records the runs. Some of us just leave it on the shoe, others remove it after every run. All in all, I would say that this has been a great investment.

4 Stars Good stuff
Yeah, I got this because I wanted to use the Nike + Kit with my New Balances. And like a lot of other idiots I initially put the sensor upside down. But I got straightened out and everything is cool.

5 Stars AWESOME DEVICE
MY DAUGHTER & HER BOYFRIEND BOUGHT ME A NANO FOR CHRISTMAS & SUGGESTED THE NIKE & IPOD WORKOUT ASSISTANT. AT THIS POINT I REALLY AM NOT INTERESTED IT AN EXPENSIVE PAIR OF SNEAKERS TO TRACK MY CALORIE BURNING, ETC. I FOUND THIS DEVICE AND PURCHASED IT, IT WORKS GREAT FOR WALKING & RUNNING. I FOUND IT DOESNT DETECT MOTION ON THE ELIPTICAL. I STILL THINK IT IS CHEAPER THEN A 80-90 DOLLARS PR OF SNEAKERS.

5 Stars Great product for under $10
I didn’t have the nike+ shoes that have room for the sensor so I bought this case. I don’t have any problems with it whatsoever. Just strap it tightly to your shoe and take off for your run!

Now there’s a way to upgrade your iPod into an interactive personal trainer! It’s easy, simple, and completely wireless. Sync your info statistics (after your workout) with your PC or Mac computer at home. Now your iPod keeps you in tune while you listen to tunes.

Thanks to a unique partnership between Nike and Apple, your iPod nano or iPod touch (2nd generation) becomes your coach, your personal trainer, and your favorite workout companion. Insert the wireless sensor inside the custom, built-in pocket beneath the insole of your Nike+ shoe, then plug the receiver into the Dock connector on your iPod nano. The iPod touch (2nd generation) includes built-in support for the system ? no receiver necessary. Now start your workout. As your run or walk, the sensor sends information to your iPod, tracking your time, distance, pace, and calories burned. If you choose, real-time, spoken feedback can even alert you to milestones throughout your workout. Back at your computer, sync your iPod to transfer your workout data to iTunes and nikeplus.com. There, you can evaluate your performance history, set goals, and even challenge other runners to a virtual race.
So save money on physical instructors and take your Nike+ and iPod for a run outdoors or a workout at the gym. Then keep track on your progress. Your lifestyle really goes up a notch with the Apple MA365LL/C Nike + iPod Sport Kit.

1 Star Will not work with 1 Generation Ipod touch
I bought this product because it says it works with ipod touch 1st Generation. This is not true when I plug the receiver in to my touch it reads will not work with this device.

5 Stars Greatest invention ever.
This is one of the most ingenius things I’ve ever owned! I absolutely ADORE mine. I can’t believe I’ve ever run without it. It even encourages you when you’ve run your longest or fastest run to date.

My only complaint is that if I run a 5k or 10k, the results obviously are shown in KM, and there’s no way to convert to miles. This doesn’t, however, bug me enough to knock off a star.

No runner should be without this handy little gadget.

4 Stars If you use it properly, it works great
I was skeptical about buying this because I’d read so many bad reviews. Nike and Apple both live on hype, so how good could it really be? After a lot of online research on how to position the chip in your shoe and calibrate it properly, I decided to buy. I followed the steps (listed below) and have had no trouble. I did a one mile calibration and 3 weeks later the Nike+ was accurate to 200 feet on my half marathon! Incredible for something that costs $30. Maybe GPS is for hard core runners, but this would be fine for your average running fan. And the cool online running log is a great bonus you don’t get with the geeky full feature GPS systems.

The secret to making it work right:

1: position the chip face up, facing forward on your shoe

2: The chip must be held so it doesn’t jiggle at all. (if you have nikes, this isn’t a problem, but I don’t so I cut a hole in my sole and made my own chip holder. I’ve see people use the lace holders with success, but it has to be really tight.

3: calibrate it for at least a mile on flat ground and try to run a consistent pace that is normal for your running. If you improve your average running time, you should recalibrate with the new pace for maximum accuracy.

(Was this nerdy enough for everyone?)

4 Stars Makes running enjoyable. Helps me stay focused and set goals
This is the second time I have purchased the nike plus sport kit. After about a year and a half the little plastic thing you stick in the shoe died on me. I wasn’t as careful as I should have been and took it out when I was just wearing my shoes around. That probably caused it to die a little earlier than is should have. I bought a new plastic dohicky from the apple store but it DID NOT work with my receiver. I figured I need a whole new thing. I am into biking now so I don’t use it as much as I used to. I need to pull it out and go for a ran here soon though. I do like the feedback you get except the girl seemed to be stuck on telling me I had hit 500 miles or something. It got annoying. I am hoping they updated the software in this one so it doesn’t get stuck.

5 Stars Motivating
I just started running again, (after a year break) and I was hoping that a device like this would keep track of my running and help motivate me to run more. It has done just that, motivating me much more than I expected it to. The nike-plus site is great! I’ve set up a goal to run a mini marathon in may and it helped me create a detailed running plan. Also the little goals and challenges make running more fun and rewarding. As silly as it might sound, its actually pretty cool and motivating to hear Tiger Woods congratulating me on my fastest mile yet. It’s almost like I have my own trainer.
